These records have been digitized, but the original hard copies are unique and do not exist elsewhere. In the long term, the cabinets will be transferable to the new Library facility and, in the short term, will conserve these original documents in archival quality storage units. The total cost the project is $2390. This includes the purchase and delivery of one (1) fire-proof file cabinet and one box of archival file folders. This project is a continuation of the effort to preserve these records that began with the purchase of two fire-proof cabinets through this same grant program (ISHS CEG) in 2018. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve submittal of an Idaho State Historical Society Community Enhancement Grant for the McCall Public Library and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents. RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTION MEETING DATE ACTION August 9, 2018 Approved submittal of ISHS Community Engagement Grant for Library fireproof cabinets.
