SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The West Central Mountain Housing Trust has voluntarily agreed to place the attached deed restriction on the townhome unit located at 117 Broken Pine in the new Broken Ridge subdivision
located off Boydstun Lane. Per Resolution 19-02 Local Housing Incentive Policy, the unit is eligible to receive the $10,000 incentive for placing the deed restriction on the unit. The
funding for this reimbursement program will come from the Local Option Tax grant for Local Housing. This is the first local housing deed restriction and reimbursement that will be implemented
under the Council’s incentive policy.
The attached Local Housing Deed Restriction template was developed by staff and White Peterson and will serve as the template until the Local Housing Incentive Program (Resolution 19-02)
is revised.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve payment of $10,000 per Resolution 19-02 for 117 Broken Pine.
Approve Local Housing Deed Restriction template.
Provide direction to staff if Council would like to review payment requests in the future.
