SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On January 9, 2020, the City received a Grant from Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health in response to the Mayor having participated in their leadership program. The purpose of
Grant funding from the Foundation is for the support of two MOSS internships with the City of McCall. The MOSS interns have been working with CED Director. One of the projects is the
Analysis of Urban Agriculture and Community Food Systems in McCall.
On June 18, intern Casey O’Leary introduced herself to the City Council and gave an introduction of her project and research. The final report and presentation will occur at the July
9 Council meeting. Time has been allocated for question and any discussion. The final report and resolution are attached for review.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Resolution 20-14 adopting the final report McCall In Delicious Motion: Advancing the City’s Urban Agricultural Goals as a planning document.
Provide any direction to staff on next steps for implementation.
