RESOLUTION NO. 204-04-02
AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR ACTIVITIES OF
THE FRASER COLLECTION SYSTEM
WHEREAS, Fraser is the owner of a collection system with greater than 21 miles of
sanitary sewer pipe;
WHEREAS, Fraser's insurance carrier recommends sanitary sewer service providers
clean and video the entire collection system on a three-year cycle;
WHEREAS, routine cleaning and maintenance is preventative, increasing system
efficiency and minimizing system failures;
WHEREAS, Fraser's collection system has Inflow and Infiltration capacity issues that
negatively impact the Wastewater Treatment Plant operations;
WHEREAS, preventative and predictive maintenance are cost effective compared to
corrective maintenance program;
WHEREAS, Fraser's 2021 annual budget (55-40-465) anticipate routine maintenance
and repair activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
TOWN OF FRASER, COLORADO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Authorize the Town Manager to enter into a contract for annual maintenance and
repair activities with Simon Pipeline Services not to exceed $131,819.00.
READ, PASSED ON ROLL CALL VOTE, AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES THIS
1 DAY OF APRIL 2021.
