WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional a

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That New Jersey Realty Advisory Group, LLC is hereby retained as a
licensed, professional appraiser in the above referenced matter at a cost
not to exceed $1,500.00.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professio al services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(I)(a) in accordance ivith the Borough's
Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.

Dear Mr. Reiman:
In response to the request New Jersey Realty Advisory Group, would be able to provide
the Borough of Carteret with an appraisal report for the above captioned property. The purpose
of the appraisal is estimate the value of a 25 x 200 foot strip of land for the possible purchase by
the Borough.
Our fee for this assignment will be $1,500. The fee does not include any appearances at
hearing or court testimony. The assignment will be completed with 3 weeks from the
authorization to proceed. A letter will be sent to the property owner informing them of the
appraisal and inviting them to accompany me on an inspection of the site. We will provide you
with 2 bound copies of the report along with an electronic version of the report.
