ORDINANCE NO. 80 -3
AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE 71 -5 RELATING
TO RESTRICTIONS REGARDING ANIMALS RUNNING
AT LARGE. ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF
GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance 71 -5 of the Town is hereby amended
at Section 1 by changing the definition of "at large" to read as
follows:
"at large" shall mean off the premises of the
owner, unless accompanied by an attendant who
shall have such dog firmly held by collar and
leash or other use of mechanical restraint,
which leash is not to exceed eight (8) feet
in length.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. In the event any phrase, clause, sentence,
paragraph or other section of this Ordinance is declared to be
unconstitutional, invalid or unenforceable, such ruling shall not
effect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs
or sections of said Ordinance.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage
and approval as provided by law.
