DESIGNATING APPOINTING AUTHORITY
AND ALTERNATE FOR CIVIL SERVICE'NIATTERS
WHEREAS, N.J.A.C. 4A:1 -1.3 defines "Appointing Authority" as "a person or group of
persons having power of appointment and removal"; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Final Administrative Decision of the Civil Service
Commission dated December 2, 2009, the Borough Council is recognized as the
Appointing Authority and as such, may appoint a designee(s);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough Council of the Borough of
Carteret hereby designates the following:
Appointing Authority: Daniel J. Reiman
Mayor
Alternate Appointing
Authority: Kathleen M. Barney
Municipal Clerk
for the Borough of Carteret, effective immediately.
