Subject: Recurring Vendors
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide transparency, with respect to
vendors used by the Village over the course of the fiscal year.
On September 13, 2022, Council approved the use of 37 vendors, which on aggregate
may exceed $20,000 (the Village Manager’s spending limit) over the course of the fiscal
year. Within this approval, Council requested notification if/when any vendors on the
list exceed the threshold of $20,000. The following vendors exceeded $20,000 in
aggregate purchases during FYE 2023. AT&T Mobility, Del Marketing LP, Lank Oil Co,
Mercedes Electric Supply and NGR Auto Services were included in the LTC Updates
for this Fiscal Year.
Tirone Electric, Inc., provides licensed electrical services to the Village on an as needed
basis. During this fiscal year FYE 2023 the vendor services resulted in separate invoices
ranging in amounts of $500 to $7,000 for electrical work related to the Gated
Residential Community street light system repairs. Village Hall electrical repairs, and
lighting fixture installation at the Harbour Way Stormwater pump station. The total
disbursed through June 30th for FYE 2023 budget year was approximately $32,000.
