A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE SOLID WASTE COLLECTION
CONTINGENCY CONTRACT.
Whereas, the City of Moab entered into an agreement with Bob's Sanitation for the purpose of
providing temporary, emergency solid waste collection services; and
Whereas, the expiration of this Agreement is set for August 15, 1999; and
Whereas, the City of Moab is in need of temporary solid waste collection services for an
additional period of time; and
Whereas, amendment to the Solid Waste Collection Agreement between Bob's Sanitation and
the City of Moab is attached to this Resolution;
NOW THEREFORE, WE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOAB, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE TO APPROVE THE AMENDMENT TO THIS AGREEMENT AS
PRESENTED TO THIS MEETING, AND AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATE PARTIES TO
EXECUTE AND DELIVER THE AMENDMENT.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by action of the Goveming Body of the City of Moab in open session
this le day of August, 1999.

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
This AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT made and entered into this /D)-day of
, 7,0 • , 1999 between the CITY OF MOAB (hereinafter'City") a political
subdi isio n of the State of Utah, and Bob's Sanitation, a Utah Corporation (hereinafter
"Contractor").
The parties hereto agree to amend Section 3.1 of the Solid Waste Collection
Agreement between Contractor and City, to read as follows:
3.1 Term of Agreement and Effective Date
This agreement shall remain in force from the day of February 15, 1999 until
August 31, 1999. Either party for any reason may terminate this agreement with 30
days written notice.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Moab, Utah, first party, has caused this Amendment
to Agreement to be subscribed by its Mayor and sealed and attested by its City
Recorder in its behalf; and Contractor, second party, has signed the Amendment to
Agreement.
