Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
1. Rollcall: Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tern Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy
Miller, Brian Cerkvenik, Katie Soles and Parnell Quinn
2. Approval of Agenda:
Trustee Miller requested to amend the agenda moving Resolution 2021-03-03 Adopting
The 2020 Grand County Hazardous Mitigation Plan from Consent to Discussion Item e.
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve the amended
agenda. Motion carried: 6-0.
3. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes March 3, 2021
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Soles seconded the motion to approve the amended
consent agenda. Motion carried: 6-0.
4. Discussion And Possible Action Regarding:
a) Grand County Library District Update
Patty Gallagher, Janette McQuade and Sally LeClair presented the update.
b) Resolution 2021-03-04 Colorado Main Street Program
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2021-03-04 Colorado Main Street Program Motion carried: 6-0
c) Fraser Valley Arts Update- Steve Fitzgerald

d) Town Board Recruitment Process Update
The Board reviewed the Town Manager Opening and Job Description and agreed to
move forward to post these items.
e) Resolution 2021-03-03 Adopting The 2020 Grand County Hazardous Mitigation
Plan
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve Resolution
2021-03-03 Adopting The 2020 Grand County Hazardous Mitigation Plan. Motion
carried:6-0.
5. Open Forum:
a) Barry Young, thank you for the update
6. Updates:
a) MEDM Wieck, presented a grant opportunity from Colorado Department of
Transportation for the Mural Park.
b) Cerkvenic thanked participants for transparency.
c) Waldow, Housing Meeting and Housing Authority.
e) TP, Trotter The BOCC approved a transfer of the $75,000 that was bench
marked for the conservation trust fund for a match to a GOCO grant, will now be moved
to match the DOLA grant for the Cozens Open Space bathroom utility extension
infrastructure.
7. Adjourn:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion
carried: 6-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:41 p.m.
