A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
JOSEPHINE STREET WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NUMBER 4011.67.982 AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on April 19, 2011, the City Council of the City of Lynwood awarded
the Josephine Street Water Main Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.982
contract to J. A. Salazar Construction and Supply Corporation in the amount of
$464,707; and
WHEREAS, the project started on June 13, 2011 and was completed on August
24, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded with the Water funds; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $492,492; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on August 24,
2011 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the Josephine
Street Water Main Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.982 as complete in
accordance with contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to process the
recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
