A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD SELECTING
TO REJECT ALL BIDS AND REPLUBLISH THE RFP FOR PRINTING OF THE
CITY'S NEWSLETTER
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a qualified and
cost effective printer; and
WHEREAS, to comply with the City's purchasing ordinance, a Request For
Proposals was issued to numerous vendors; and
WHEREAS, City staff distributed RFP invitations to ten (10) printing vendors and
received two bids from printing vendors; and
WHEREAS, City staff recommends that re-issuing the RFP would allow more
time for vendors to respond and would be more advantageous to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council selects to reject all bids and republish the
RFP for printing of the City's newsletter.
Section 2. That the City Council authorize the City Manager to continue the
month-to-month contract extension with ACE Commercial, Inc. for an amount not-to-
exceed $15,000 until December 31, 2011.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4 of October, 2011.
