AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
BY ALLOWING A JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN TO HAVE TWO APPRENTICES .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 8 (Building Regulations) Section 3 (Amendments to the
Electrical Code) is amended as follows :
Sec. 8-3. Amendments to National Electrical Code 2011
The following a dditions, insertions, de leti ons and c hanges in the Nationa l E lectri cal Code 20 II and
contain ed in O rdin ance No 14973 s hall be set out belo w:
80.26.4. Apprentice E lectric ian sha ll be a uth orized to do e lectri cal wo rk whi le employed by a n e lectrical
contractor and un der th e direct s up er v is io n of a li ce nsed j ou rney man. T he r at io ofapprenti ce to journeyman s ha ll be

Section 2 .~ This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the
