First Reading on a Proposed Loan Order Authorizing the Town Treasurer, With the Approval of the Town Manager,to Borrow and/or Expend Monies in the Amount of One Million Six-Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,600,000.00) Under and Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 44, or Pursuant to Any Other Enabling Authority for the Purpose of Paying Costs of a Feasibility Studv and Schematic Design With Respect to Watertown High School, Located at 50 Columbia Street, Watertown, Massachusetts, Including the Payment of All Costs Incidental or Related Thereto, and For Which Town May Be Eligible for a Grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority("MSBA"), Said Amount to Be Expended Under the Direction of the School Building Committee. The Town Acknowledges that the 1 MSBA's Grant Program is a Non-Entitlement, Discretionary Program Based on Need, as Determined by the MSBA, and Any Costs the Town Incurs in Excess of Any Grant Approved By and Received From the MSBA Shall Be the Sole Responsibility of the Town, and That the Amount of Borrowing Authorized Pursuant to This Vote Shall Be Reduced by Any Grant Amount Set Forth in the Feasibility Study Agreement That May Be Executed Between the Town and the MSBA. Any Premium Received Upon the Sale of Any Bonds or Notes Approved By This Vote, Less Any Such Premium Applied to the Payment of the Costs of Issuance of Such Bonds or Notes,May Be Applied to the Payment of Costs Approved By This Vote in Accordance with M.G.L. SIDERIS, X COUNCIL PRESIDENT isWrl i PROCLAMATION i WHEREAS: Vera Landry,born on October 15, 1918,the daughter of Italian immigrants Samuel and Rose Russo was one of six children, she grew up on Fayette Street and currently resides on Edenfield Avenue; and WHEREAS: Vera married Alfred"Ted"Landry on October 3, 1943 and became the mother of two daughters; and WHEREAS: Vera worked at Rosary Academy as a lunch aide; and WHEREAS: Vera was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis; she defied her doctor's prediction that she would be wheelchair bound by age 40 by remaining fully mobile until she reached 95; and WHEREAS: Vera has always lovingly supported her family; she was the caregiver for her sister Adeline who was stricken with polio; and WHEREAS: Vera loved going to Wonderland Dog Track and Foxwoods and vacationing at Lake Winnepesaukee; and WHEREAS: Vera loved spending time with her family, she was known as a great cook who happily hosted big crowds for the holidays; and WHEREAS: Vera has the honor of having eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great great grandson; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Council of the City known as the Town of Watertown extends its congratulations to VERA LANDRY of WATERTOWN ON HER 100TH BIRTHDAY IN WITNESS WHEREOF,we have Hereunto set our hand and caused the Great Seal of the To n of Watertown To be affixed on th' 1 th day of October 2018 Mark S.
