Call to Order by Anne Sigsbee at 7:02
Past Minutes - Approved from September motion made
by Tracy Murphy and seconded by Brandon Bader 7-0-0
Fee Waiver Policy - A motion was made to have Kyle
Wibby and Morgan Stewart to change the current
accepted fee waiver to language to include adult and
seniors. Brandon Bader moved Sharon Basso
seconded 7-0-0.
Survey Questions- A motion was made to create a
sub-committee to prepare a survey to be presented at
next meeting. Evan Lagasse, Sharon Basso, and Tracy
Murphy volunteered. Brandon Bader made motion and
Kyle Wibby seconded 7-0-0.
Revolving account - Alan Harrison reported that
originally the revolving account started with no money.
$20, 000 in fees generated from summer programming
and 4 people applied for waiver.
$8,500 left after the summer, salaries for summer people
were needed to be added for extra help with the added
hours and staff about $12, 000.
$5,484 projected fee acquisitions fall through rest of
year, but will also need to pay referee's and instructors.
Torn Daley will send spreadsheet of budget to clarify
some questions to chair person about budget line items
and revolving account.
Other Specific Budget items - Recommendation to
Director to explore possibilities for remaining funds;
possibilities include, Open Gym use, new bases for soft
ball, grass liner, spring programing for boys sports and
middle school girls lacrosse program, tennis nets, adult
fitness gear and finally, provide quality childcare at Town
Meeting
Requests for CPC- Anne proposed look at hydration
stations to reduce single use plastic items.
Kyle Wibby offered an idea to co-support CPC
application for rubberizing track, and building basketball
court with funds. Kyle will reach out to interested town
people. Jon Fuller and Morgan Stewart interested in
supporting.
Budget Review - Tom Daley walked us through Budget
process and timeline. Submissions will be needed for
early November.
