Item: EPD Consent Order (CO) and City of Tybee Water and Sewer Department Corrective Action Plan (CAP) —
Attached is a stream lined version of the CO that the EPD staff has agreed with city staff to approve. The Infrastructure
Committee recommended approval of the first longer draft version on 1.9.14 (3-0). This current revision of the CO and
CAP provides more clarity of what is required in the CO and CAP for the both EPD and city staff.
The CO contains a $5,000 fine for the two sewer main spills from the sewer force main to sewer lift stations #3 on June
30,2013 and July 13,2013.
