Municipal Building, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.

Noted Absent was Councilmembers Randy Krum and Susan
Naples.
Also noted present was Kathleen M. Barney, Municipal Clerk and
Robert Bergen, Borough Attorney.
The Clerk stated that on January 9, 2012 the 2012 Annual Notice STATIIII�Ti
P= N3PICE
was mailed to The Home News, The Star Ledger and posted on
the Bulletin Board. Notice was published in The Home News
Tribune on January 9, 2012 and in The Star Ledger on January 10,
2012.
The meeting was opened with a minute of silent prayer and the Silent Prayer/
Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman . Pledge of Allegi -me

Upon MMS &C by Councilmembers Sitarz and DiMascio and
unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4) Councilmembers
present, the Mayor declared the Public Hearing to be open.
There were no comments from the public.
There being no further comments or objections to the Ordinance
the Mayor declared the Public Hearing to be Closed upon MMS &C
by Councilmembers Diaz and Sitarz and unanimous affirmative
vote of the four (4) Councilmembers present.

Upon MMS &C by Councilmembers Bellino and DiMascio and
unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4) Councilmembers
present, the Public Portion on Resolutions /Agenda Items and New
Business was opened to the public.
There were no comments from the public.
Upon MMS &C by Councilmembers Sitarz and DiMascio and
unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4) Councilmembers
present, the Public Portion of the meeting was closed.

Agenda asking if Such's was going to renew their license.
%yor Mayor Reiman said it is a pocket license wih a special ruling from
Re'rra' ABC. He said it is considered an inactive license but this would
allow them to sell it to someone.
Mayor Reiman the asked for a motion on the Consent Agenda.

BUSINESS TO BE ADDED:
Attorney Bergen said he was going to write a letter in reference to
A -2596.
Councilmember Sitarz questioned if the high grass on the
warehouse side of the bridge going over West Carteret was the
county's responsibility.
Mayor Reiman said it was either the county or the Department of
Transportation or Conrail. He directed the Clerk to email John
Dupont to send letters to all the agencies.
After no further discussion, upon MMS &C by Councilmembers
Sitarz and Diaz and unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4)
Councilmembers present, the meeting was Adjourned at
approximately 6:07 P.M.
