On behalf of Camp Pequosette, The Recreation Department a nd The Veterans' Services
D epartment we would like to presen t The Town of Watertown with a commemorati ve mural in h onor
of September 11, 2001.
Du rin g the month of Augu st, the children at Camp Pequosette, under the direction of the Art
Director, K im Foley, worked together to create the mu ral for this year's ele venth a nni vers ary of 9/11.
This mural was a way fo r o ur Watertown children to contribute, while teaching them of the reasons
an d in spiration behind this important day. We hope that this mural will inspire all of us to e ngage in
charitable activities and grow closer as a community.
We wou ld also like to ex ten d our appreciation to Coolidge H ardware and Sterritt L umbar Co .
for donating all of the su pplies needed for the project.
