WITH TIE WORK. ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED IN A WORKMANLIKE MANNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH ACCEPIEO
CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES.
2. IT 5 TIE INTENTION OF THESE DRAWINGS TO SHOW THE COMPLETED INSTALLATION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE

EXPERIENCED IN TIE NECESSARY CRAFTS AND WHO ARE COMPLETELY FAMILIAR PATH TIE SPECIFIED REQUIREMENTS AND
METHOD NEEDED FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK
4. CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR AGREES THAT IN ACCORDANCE WITH GENERALLY ACCEPTED CONSTRI.GTION PRACTICES,
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO ASSUME SOLE AND COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY FOR JOB SITE
CONDITIONS DURING TIE COURSE OF CONSTRICTION OF TIE PROJECT, INCLUDING THE SAFETY OF ALL PERSONS AND
PROPERTY. THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL BE MADE TO APPLY CONTIIAXJUSLY AND NOT BE LIMITED TO NORMAL WORKING
HOURS. CONSTRICTION CONTRACTOR FURTHER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD DESIGN ENGINEER HARMLESS FROM
ANY AND ALL LIABIUTY, REAL OR ALLEGED, IN CONNECTION WITH PERFORMANCE OF WORK ON T115 PROJECT.
5. SITE GROUNDING SHALL COMPLY WITH ATIT MOBILITY ATLANTA GROUNDING STANDARDS, LATEST EDITION, AND COMPLY WITH
ATET MOBILITY ATLANTA GROUNDING CHECKLIST, LATEST VERSION. WHEN NATIONAL AND LOCAL GROUNDING CODES ARE MORE
STRINGENT THEY SHALL GOVERN.
S. ALL YORK SHALL COMPLY WITH OSHA AND STATE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. PROCEDURES FOR TIE PROTECTION OF
EXCAVATIONS, EXISTING CONSTRICTION MD UTILITIES SHALL BE ESTABLISHED PRIOR TO FOUNDATION INSTALLATION. IF
TEMPORARY LIGHTING AND MARKING 15 REWIRED BY THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAAI, IT 15 TIE
CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN THE NECESSARY LIGHTS AND NOTIFY TIE PROPER AUTHORITIES IN THE
EVENT OF A PROBLEM
'I. ALL WORK SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL LOCAL, STATE, MD FEDERAL CODES AND ORDINANCES.
THE MOST STRINGENT CODE HILL ARMY IN TIE CASE OF DISCREPANCIES OR DIFFERENCES IN THE CODE
REQUIREMENTS.
H. ANT' DAMAGE TO ADJACENT PROPERTIES SHALL BE CORRECTED AT THE CONTRACTORS EXPENSE.
Q. THE CONTRACTOR 15 RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING AMPLE NOTICE TO THE BUILDING INSPECTION DEPARTMENT TO
SGEDU-E THE REQUIRED INSPECTIONS. A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS OF NOTICE SHALL BE GIVEN AND THE BALDING
INSPECTION DEPARTMENTS HAVE REQUESTED THAT GROUPS OF TWO OR THREE 517E5 BE SCHEDULED AT ONE TIME IF
POSSIBLE.
10. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER WILL CONFIRM FAA APPROVAL OF TOYER LOCATION BY ISSUING TOWER RELEASE FORM. NO
TOYER SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED UNTIL THE TOYER RELEASE FORM 15 ISSUED TO THE CONTRACTOR
II. THE COMPLETE BID PACKAGE INCLUDES THESE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS ALONG WITH THE FINAL RF DESIGN AND TOYER
STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS. CONTRACTOR 15 RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEW OF TOTAL BID PACKAGE PRIOR TO BID SUBMITTAL.
12. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES WITHIN CONSTRUCTION LIMITS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
13. THE CONTRACTOR 15 RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING POSITIVE DRAINAGE ON THE SITE AT ALL TIMES. SILT AND EROSION
CONTROL SHALL BE MAINTAINED ON THE DOWNSTREAM SIDE OF THE SITE AT ALL TIMES. ANY DAMAGE TO ADJACENT
PROPERTIES SHALL BE CORRECTED AT THE CONTRACTORS EXPENSE
14. CLEARING OF TREES AND VEGETATION ON TIE 511E SHOULD BE HELD TO A MINIMUM. ONLY THE TREES NECESSARY FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF TIE FACILITIES SHALL BE REMOVED. ANY DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OUTSIDE HE LEASE PROPERTY
SHALL BE REPAIRED BY THE CONTRACTOR
L5. ALL SUITABLE BORROW MATERIAL FOR BACK FILL OF TIE SITE SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE BID. EXCESS TOPSOIL AND
UNSUITABLE MATERIAL SHALL BE DISPOSED OF OFF SITE AT LOCATIONS APPROVED BY GOVERNING AGENCIES PRIOR TO
DISPOSAL.
16. SEEDING AND FILCHING OF THE SITE SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED AS SOON A5 POSSIBLE AFTER COMPLETION OF THE
SITE DEVELOPMENT. THE CONTRACTOR 15 RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING AN ADEQUATE COVER OF
VEGETATION OVER THE SITE FOR A ONE YEAR PERIOD.
17. PERMITS, OBTAIN AND PAY FOR REQUIRED PERMITS, LICENSES, FEES, INSPECTIONS, ETC.
IT'. RECORD DRAWINGS, MAINTAIN A RECORD OF ALL CHANGES, SUBSTITUTIONS BETWEEN WORK AS SPECIFIED AND
INSTALLED. RECORD CHANGES ON A CLEAN SET OF CONTRACT DRAWINGS WHICH SHALL BE TURNED OVER TO THE
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.
II. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITE BEFORE BIDDING ON THE WORK CONTAINED IN THIS DESIGN PACKAGE
EXCAVATION 4 GRADING NOTES:
I. ALL GUT AND FILL SLOPES SHALL BE 3 , I MAXIMUM.
2. ALL EXCAVATIONS ON WHICH CONCRETE 15 TO BE PLACED SHALL BE SUBSTANTIALLY HORIZONTAL ON
UNDISTURBED AND UNFROZEN SOIL AND NE FREE FROM LOOSE MATERIAL AND EXCESS GROUND WATER
DBIATERING FOR EXCESS GROUND WATER SHALL BE PROVIDED IF REQUIRED.
3. CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS SHALL NOT BE PLACED ON ORGANIC MATERIAL IF SOUND SOIL 15 NOT REACHED
AT THE DESIGNATED EXCAVATION DEPTH, THE UNSATISFACTORY SOIL SHALL BE EXCAVATED TO 115 FILL
DEPTH AND EITHER BE REPLACED WITH MECHANICALLY COMPACTED GRANULAR MATERIAL OR THE EXCAVATION
BE FILLED WITH CONCRETE OF THE SAME QUALITY SPECIFIED FOR TIE FOUNDATION.
4. ANY EXCAVATION OVER THE REQUIRED DEPTH SHALL BE FILLED WITH EITHER MECHANICALLY COMPACTED
GRANULAR MATERIAL OF CONCRETE OF THE SAFE QUALITY SPECIFIED FOR THE FOUNDATION. CRUSHED
STONE MAY BE USED TO STABILIZE THE BOTTOM OF THE EXCAVATION. STONE, IF USED, SHALL NOT BE
USED AS COMPILING CONCRETE THICKNESS.
5. AFTER COMPLETION OF THE FOUNDATION AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION BELOW GRADE, AND BEFORE BACK
FILLING, ALL EXCAVATIONS SHALL BE GLEAN OF UNSUITABLE MATERIAL SUCH AS VEGETATION, TRASH, DEBRIS,
AND 50 FORTH.
6. BACK FILL SHALL BE.
- APPROVED MATERIALS CONSISTING OF EARTH, LOAM, SANDY CLAY, SAND, GRAVEL, OR SOFT SHALE,
- FREE FROM CLODS OR STONES OVER 2 -112' MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS,
- IN LAYERS AND COMPACTED.
7. SITE FILL MATERIAL AND FOUNDATION BALK FILL SHALL BE PLACED IN LAYERS, MAXIMUM 6' DEEP BEFORE
COMPACTION. EACH LAYER SHALL BE SPRINKLED IF REQUIRED AND COMPACTED BY HAND OPERATED OR
MACHINE TAMPERS TO '15% OF MAXIMA DENSITY, AT THE OPTIMA MOISTURE CONTENT 12% AS DETERMINED
BY ASTH DESIGNATION 0-69B, UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED. 511014 BACK FILL SHALL NOT BE PLACED
BEFORE 3 DAYS AFTER PLACEMENT OF CONCRETE.
B. THE FOUNDATION AREA SHALL BE GRADED TO PROVIDE WATER RUNOFF AND PREVENT WATER FROM
STANDING. THE FINAL GRADE SHALL SLOPE AWAY IN ALL DIRECTIONS FROM THE FOUNDATION AND SHALL
THEN BE COVERED WITH 4' DEEP COMPACTED STOLE OR GRAVEL.
Q. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL MEASURES AS REQUIRED BY LOCAL
CITY, COUNTY AND STATE CODES AND ORDINANCES TO PROTECT EMBANKMENTS FROM SOIL LO55 AND TO
PREVENT ACCUMULATION OF SOIL AND SILT IN STREAMS AND DRAINAGE PATHS LEAVING THE CONSTRICTION
AREA THIS MAY INCLUDE SUCH MEASURES AS SILT FENCES, STAIN BALE SEDIMENT BARRIERS AND CHECK DAMS.
10. FILL PREPARATION,
REMOVE ALL VEGETATION TOPSOIL, DEBRIS, YET AND UNSATISFACTORY SOIL MATERIALS, OBSTRUCTIONS, AND
DELETERIOUS MATERIALS FROM GROUND SURFACE PRIOR To PLACING FILLS. ROW STRIP OR BREAK UP
SLOPED SURFACES STEEPER THAT I VERTICAL TO 4 HORIZONTAL 50 FILL MATERIAL WILL BOND WITH EXISTING
SURFACE. YAEN S IEGRADE OR EXISTING GROUNDD SURFACE TO RECEIVE FILL HAS A DENSITY LESS THAN THAT
REQUIRED FOR FILL, BREAK U' GRWID SI.RFACE TO DEPTH REQUIRED, PULVERIZE, MOISTURE- CONDITION OR
AERATE SOIL AND RECOMPACT TO REWIRED DENSITY.
II. REPLACE TIE EXISTING WEARING 'SURFACE ON AREAS WHICH HAVE BEEN DAMAGED OR REMOVED DURING
CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS. SURFACE SHALL BE REPLACE TO MATCH EXISTING ADJACENT SURFACING AND
SHALL BE OF THE SAME THICKNESS. NEW SURFACE .MALL BE FREE FROM CORRUGATIONS AND WAVES.
EXISTING SURFACING MAY BE EXCAVATED SEPARATELY AND REUSED IF INJURIOUS AMOUNTS OF EARTH,
ORGANIC MATERIAL, OF OTHER DELETERIOUS MATERIALS ARE REMOVED PRIOR TO REUSE. FURNISH ALL
ADDITIONAL RESURFACING MATERIAL AS REOUIRFD. BEFORE SURFACING IS REPLACED, SUBGRADE SHALL BE
GRADED TO CONFORM TO REQUIRED SUBGRADE ELEVATIONS, AND LOOSE OR DISTURBED MATERIALS SHALL BE
THOROUGHLY COMPACTED. DEPRESSIONS IN THE SUBGRADE SHALL BE FILLED MO COMPACTED WITH
APPROVED SELECTED MATERIAL SURFACING SHALL NOT BE RUED FOR FILLING DEPRESSIONS IN
THE 51113GRADE.
12. PROTECT EXISTING SURFACING AND SLBGRADE IN AREAS MERE EQUIPMENT LOADS HILL OPERATE. USE
PLANTING OR OTHER SUITABLE MATERIALS DESIGNED TO SPREAD EQUIPMENT LOADS. REPAIR DAMAGE TO
EXISTING GRAVEL SURFACING OR SUBGRADE MERE 515TH DAMAGE 15 DUE TO THE CONTRACTORS OPERATIONS.
DAMAGED GRAVEL SURFACING SHALL BE RESTORED TO MATCH TIE ADJACENT UNDAMAGED GRAVEL SURFACING
AND SHALL BE OF TIE SAME THICKNESS.
13. DAMAGE TO EXISTING STRUCTURES AND UTILITIES RESULTING FROM CONTRACTORS NEGLIGENCE SHALL BE
REPAIRED / REPLACED TO OWAMERS SATISFACTION AT CONTRACTORS EXPENSE.
14. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE WITH PROPERTY OWNER 50 A5 TO AVOID
INTERRUPTIONS TO PROPERTY OMERS OPERATIONS.
15. ENSURE POSITIVE DRAINAGE DURING AND AFTER COMPLETION OF CONSTRICTION.
16. RIPRAP SHALL BE CLEAN, HARD, 50UD, DURABLE, INFORM IN QUALITY, AND FREE OF ANY DETRIMENTAL
QUANTITY OF SOFT, FRIABLE, THIN, ELONGATED OR LAMINATED PIECES, DISINTEGRATED MATERIAL, ORGANIC
MATTER, OIL, ALKALI, OR OTHER DELETERIOUS SUBSTANCE.
