A RESOLUTION SETTING THE VEHICLE MILEAGE AND MEAL ALLOWANCE FOR
TRAVEL
WHEREAS the Governing Body of the City of Moab finds that the mileage allowance for
vehicle use and meal allowance should be mcreased,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
MOAB THAT RESOLUTION ff 10-90 IS REPEALED AND THAT THE REIMBURSEMENT
RATE FOR THE USE OF PERSONAL VEHICLES AND MEAL ALLOWANCE FOR
TRAVEL FOR MOAB CITY EMPLOYEES, ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS BE
AS FOLLOWS
1 Reimbursement for city travel using a personal car will be at the rate of twenty-seven
cents ($ 27) per mile for approved personal car use
2 Reimbursement for city travel usmg a personal car will be at the rate of seventeen
cents ($ 17) per mile, for non -approved personal car use
3 Meals dunng the travel penod shall be reunbursed at actual costs upon submittal of
receipts
This resolution shall take effect munediately upon passage
Passed and adopted by action of the governing body of the City of Moab in open session
this 25th day of Apnl, 2000
