CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET, ENTITLED
"CONSTRUCTION CODES, UNIFORM" PROVIDING FOR
THE WAIVER OF FEES IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES
BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough of Carteret in the County of Middlesex, State
of New Jersey as follows:
Section 1, The existing text of the above entitled Article which describes and
enumerates certain fees shall be designated as subsection "A"
Section 2. A new subsection shall be added to the above entitled Article which shall
read as ibllows:
B. Waivers:
I All fees under Section A of this Ordinance shall be waived where the Borough
of Carteret (i) is the party conducting the construction (ii) has contracted for the
construction, or (iii) bears the direct financial responsibility for the fees
2. All fees in Section A of this Ordinance shall be waived where the party
required to obtain the permit is organized pursuant to the "New Jersey Non-Profit
Co~'poration Act", N.JS. 15A: 1-1 et seq, or has been granted tax exempt status
pursuant to the laws of the United States of America or the State of New Jersey"
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by law
