AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION
OF BLOCK 302, LOTS 6 AND7 AND BLOCK 6502,
LOTS 7 AND 8 WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret ( "Borough ") has
determined that a need exists to acquire the following identified parcels of real property
to be used for public parking and such other public purposes as are authorized by law,
and wishes to authorize various public agencies to so acquire said parcels:
BLOCK/LOT
Block 302; Lots 6 and 7
Block 6502; Lots 7 and 8
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has determined that said use is for a public purpose
and will promote the general health and welfare of the community; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, as follows:
The acquisition of that any and all of the aforementioned parcel of real
Property within the Borough of Carteret by various public agencies, to
include the Carteret Redevelopment Agency and Carteret Business
Partnership, is hereby authorized and directed for the purposes provided
for herein, and for such other municipal purposes as may be authorized by
law, along with the provision of any necessary public funding therefore.
Adopted this 12" day of July, 2012
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 13, 2012.
