MASTRANGELO COUNCIL CHAMBER ADMINISTRATION BUILDING In accordance with provisions of Rule 2.6 of the Rules of the Town Council, and pursuant to the Call of the Town Council President, I hereby call a Special Meeting of the Town Council of the City known as the Town of Watertown to be held on Tuesday, June 18th at 6:00 pm, in the Richard E. Mastrangelo Council Chamber, Administration Building for the purpose of convening an Executive Session in order to discuss the following: 1. Strategy with respect to Collective Bargaining with the Library Union, Fire Union, DPW Union, Police Patrol Union, Police Supervisors Union and Town Hall Associates Union, as an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the Town's bargaining position. 2. To consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real estate Arsenal on the Charles. 1. Roll Call: A Special Town Council meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm, in the Richard E. Mastrangelo Council Chamber, Administration Building. Present for the meeting were Councilors Susan G. Falkoff, Anthony Palomba, Angeline B. Kounelis, Vincent J. Piccirilli, Jr., Kenneth M. Woodland, Vice President Kenneth Woodland, and Council President Mark S. Sideris. Councilor Lenk arrived shortly after the call of the roll and Councilor Donohue did not attend due to a possible conflict of interest. Also present were Town Manager Michael J. Driscoll, Town Attorney Joe Fair and Council Clerk Valerie Papas. Councilor Piccirilli moved to go into executive session in order to discuss the items as stated above noting that discussing the matter in open session may have a detrimental effect on the Town's bargaining position. It was further noted that the Council will not return to open session following the adjournment of the executive session. The motion was seconded by Vice President Corbett and adopted by unanimous roll call vote with Councilors Susan G. Falkoff, Anthony Palomba, Angeline B. Kounelis, Vincent J. Piccirilli, Jr., Kenneth M. Woodland, Vice President Kenneth Woodland, and Council President Mark S. Sideris voting in the affirmative.
