As required by the National Environmental Policy Act, the Forest Service is seeking comments to help identify significant issues related to the proposal. Unless scoping indicates extraordinary circumstances exist which may significantly affect the environment, the decision to proceed will be documented in a Decision Memo and the decision will not be subject to appeal, in accordance with 36 CFR 215.12(f). The Forest will be taking comments related to the proposed sale for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this notice.
