Roll Call: Rita Bolli, Eric McCormick, Allan Morrison, Todd McKenna, Ken
Sterns, Michael Hayes, Kristin Christensen and Kara Jeffus were
present. Kara-Vas representing the Women's Golf Association in
McCall. Absent was Suzanne Gebhart.
Public Comment: None
Minutes for May 20 were approved by the committee.
Eric's Report: The weather has been wet making mowing difficult but
there are adequate.staff for the season. The clubhouse has guidelines
in place for the COVID outbreak, several roof leaks have been fixed, the
fire suppressions°systems have been tested, and the staff is in the
middle of training in the maintenance department. Banyon's
restaurant has opened 7 days per week. The Cedar course is now open
after being closed early in the season due to wet conditions. The
irrigation system has been pressurized and there are only a few leaks to
fix. The weather station has not been working and may need to be
replaced after a span of 20 years of use.
Allan's Report: A sheet with financial info on it was passed out but
discussion did not ensue due to the Architectural report given by David
Druzisky. We are $5000 ahead of last year but behind other years.
Architectural Report: General recommendations were listed. #1
included renovating or replacing physical structural items on the
coarse. #2 was improving the yardage and tee distribution options with
the addition of tees and suitable forward distances. #3 was renovate
existing tees to provide level surfaces and adequate teeing area that
properly relates to adjacent grades. Refurbishing existing bunkers,
renovating asphalt cart paths, rebuilding greens, replacing the irrigation
system dnthe Cedar course, adding subdrainage in wet areas, and
design changes to add interest were other areas recommended. A
hole-by-hole discussion of possible changes was reviewed and
discussed.
Monthly topic: Eric handed out his budget work sheet, including a
financial accounting of the last few years but there was no discussion
as time was limited.
New business: deferred until next meeting
