A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES TO THE FY 2011 -12 CDBG PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on June 7, 2011, the City Council adopted the City's operating and
the carry-over Capital Improvement Program budgets for FY 2011 -12; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified the need to implement certain substantial
changes to the current Capital Improvement Program relating to projects funded with
CDBG funds to best utilize the available funds and satisfy the City's needs for
infrastructure improvements; and
WHEREAS, on October 5, 2011, the CDBG commission held a public hearing
on the proposed substantial changes and supported staff's recommendation to
implement said changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood approved the
proposed substantial changes to the FY 2011 -12 CDBG Program as follows:
A. Delete FY 2010 Agnes Improvement Project $289,354
Delete FY 2008 City Hall North ADA Improvements $152,200
B. Add New Activity: FY 2011 Mulford Improvement Project $230,000
C. Amend FY 2009 Josephine Street Improvement to increase from $372,400 to
$583,954.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15 day of November, 2011.
