A RESOLUTION AUTIIORIZING FUNDING OF THE
GREENCASTLE/PUTNAM COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., continues to play a
key role in assisting, retaining; and attracting new business and industry to the community.
WHEREAS, a matching fund grant of $34,500 from the interest earned on the Industrial
Development Fund is needed to fund the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., for
2002, and the Greencastle /Putnam County Development Center shall raise an equivalent sum from
other sources.
WHEREAS, any expenditures from the Industrial Development Fund must be approved in
writing by a majority of the members of the Greencastle Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial
Development.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gr encastle Common Council authorizes
the expenditure of $34,500 per annum - $17,250 payable in J t "nd the remainder in October - for
the year 2002 in matching funds from the Industrial Development Fund, subject to the approval of
• the Greencastle Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle at its regular
meeting this 11th day of June, 2002.
