AUTHORIZING THE LAW DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE FINAL
SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET AND KEYSTONE NJP H, LLC
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (`Borough ") and Keystone NJP II, LLC
( "Keystone ") are opposing parties in a certain litigation in the New Jersey Superior
Court, Law Division, Middlesex County, bearing Docket No. L- 8658 -08, regarding the
Parking Lot at the Borough's Waterfront Park; and
WHEREAS, the parties are desirous to resolve said litigation in accordance with the
terms of a Settlement Agreement on file in the Clerk's Office.
NOW BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret that the
Borough Law Director is hereby authorized to execute the final Settlement Agreement
between the Borough of Carteret and Keystone NIP II, LLC, regarding the Carteret
Waterfront Park Parking Lot litigation, Docket No. L- 8658 -08, on behalf of the Borough
of Carteret, in a form acceptable to the Borough Law D
