Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.
1. Rollcall: Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tern Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy
Miller, Brian Cerkvenik, Katie Soles, Parnell Quinn and Kaydee Fisher
2. Approval of Agenda:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve the agenda.
Motion carried: 7-0.
3. Consent Agenda:
a) Minutes Planning Commission and Town Board Joint Meeting April 28, 2021
b) Minutes May 19, 2021
c) Resolution 2021-06-02 Change Order for CR 72 Paving with United Companies
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Cerkvenik seconded the motion to approve the
consent agenda. Motion carried: 7-0.
4. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding:
a) Town Manager Agreement
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Cerkvenik seconded the motion to approve Town
Manager Agreement and welcome Ed Cannon as the new Town Manager. Motion
carried: 7-0.
b) Grand Kids Funding Request
Ashley Bobo, GK Executive Director and Kacey Sawatzky Treasurer of Grand Kids
presented to the Board. This will be continued at the next Town Board meeting.
c) KFFR Funding Request

Steve Skinner from KFFR presented to the Board. This will be continued at the next
Town Board meeting.
d) Resolution 2021-06-01 Contract with Seneca Companies for a New Fuel
Management System
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Cerkvenik seconded the motion to approve
Resolution 2021-06-01 Contract with Seneca Companies for A New Fuel Management
System Motion carried: 7-0.
e) Resolution 2021-06-03 2021 Street Maintenance Program
Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Cerkvenik seconded the motion to approve
Resolution 2021-06-03 2021 Street Maintenance Program Motion carried: 7-0.
f) Public Arts Committee Vacancy
Trustee Waldow moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to appoint all five
applicants to the Public Arts Committee, Cynthia McCoy, Jeffery Bartholomew, Kerry
Crandell, Natalie Grote and Sean Yarbrough. Motion carried: 7-0.
5. Open Forum:
a) none
6. Updates
a) PWD Pennington let the Board know, the Town has not received any bids for the
Cozen's Open Space bathrooms.
7. Adjourn:
Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion
carried: 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
