Member Attendance:Judith Bruce, Carol Etzold, Ed Hafner, Carolyn Kennedy, Judy Scanlon,
Lara Slifka. Absent: Betsy Furtney
1. Approval of Minutes for November 18, 2019
Judith moved approval of edited minutes, seconded by Carol (6,0,0)
2. Scott Fisher - work plans fresh water pond management
Betsy and Carolyn mailed Scott Fisher maps, documents and previous discussions for Uncle
Harvey's Pond. In response Mr. Fisher emailed George and Carolyn regarding submitting a work
plan to the Committee. The Committee decided that a full work plan for Uncle Harvey's Pond
should be submitted for the January 27, 2020 meeting.
3. Plan committee calendar for 2020—
Meeting dates for 2020:Jan 27, Feb 10, March 16, April 6, May 18,June 15, July 20, Aug
17, Sept 21, Oct 19, Nov 16, Dec 14. Lara will check dates with Town Clerk. •
4. Content for Committee Year End report — bring ideas
Committee members made suggestions for items to include in the Year End Report.
5. Division of M&FWQ Committee responsibilities
Carolyn handed out Duties of Chair of Marine and Fresh Water Quality Committee-
Draft 3. Members identified items for which they would take responsibility.
6. Dredge Committee - new alternate needed
Lara has a conflict on meeting times and will be resigning from the Dredge Committee.
Judy Scanlon has agreed to seek appointment from the Selectman once Lara resigns.
Carol made the motion for Judy Scanlon to become the new alternate for the Dredge
Committee after Lara resigns, seconded by Judith (5,0,1).
7. Public speak
The meeting was moved to adjourn by Lara, seconded by Carolyn. (6,0,0)
