It is understood that if this permit is granted the builder will at all times comply with the zoning, subdivision, flood control, building, fire,
soil and sedimentation, wetlands, marshlands protection and shore protection ordinances and codes whether local, state or federal, including
all environmental laws and regulations when applicable, subsequent owners should be informed that any alterations to the property must be

This permit must be posted in a conspicuous location in the front of building and protected from the weather. If this permit is not posted

unless work has begun within six months of the date of issuance.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TREE REMOVAL
• Must maintain a tree density of 3 trees/4,500 square feet or the pre - approval density if that was less. All trees with a 6' diameter at 4.5'
above ground count toward the density count.
• Significant trees may be removed only under certain circumstances and must be replaced inch - for -inch in like species with minimum Y
diameter trees or be otherwise mitigated. (See reverse side for definition.)
• By accepting the Tree Removal Permit, the applicant and the property owner agree to comply with all requirements of the
Tree Ordinance, including mitigation requirements, planting specifications and tree survival requirements.

It was a pleasure to meet you when I carne out to your property on Thursday, December 29, 2005.
You have some beautiful trees!
This letter is in reference to several trees that you wanted to be identified. The large oak tree located at
the front of the property at 607 21d Ave_ is a Darlington oak. Many sources refer to it as a Laurel oak
and do not differentiate between the two. If you called your tree a Laurel oak you would not be
incorrect. The difference in, the two trees is the Darlington oak is usually found in bottomland areas
and the typical Laurel oak is found on more upland sites. The . leaves on both trees are identical, but
Darlington oak leaves tend to be smaller than Laurel oak leaves. The acorns are the same for both
trees.
The oak tree in your front yard is a Laurel oak. I based this on the leaves and the acoms from the tree.
The interesting tree that you showed me in the neighbor's yard is a Deodar Cedar. The native habitat
for this tree is Himalaya from East Afghanistan to Garwhal (according to the tree manual).
