RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FY 2011 EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE
GRANT /PASS THROUGH GRANT FROM THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF LAW AND
PUBLIC SAFETY DIVISION OF STATE POLICE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has applied for and has been awarded a grant in an
amount not to exceed $14,000.00 from the New Jersey Department of Law and Public
Safety through the Division of State Police Subgrant Award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
that the above referenced grant Is hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute grant documents as an authorized representative thereunder, as the representative
for the Borough of Carteret.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Carteret Office of Emergency Management.
Adopted this 20th day of September, 2012
and certified as a true copy of the original
on September 23, 2012.

In accordance with the provisions of the 2011 Emergency Management Performance Grant Program and based on
the application, the Department of Law and Public Safety hereby awards to the above -named Subgrantee a subgrant in the
amount specified for the purposes set forth in the approved application.
This subgrant is subject to the requirements set forth in the appropriate Federal Management Circulars, the General
Conditions for subgrants promulgated by the Department of Law and Public Safety (copy of which is attached hereto), all
applicable Statutes of the State of New Jersey and the requirements of the State of New Jersey for State and local financial
accounting including the filing of single audits as required under OMB Circular A -133 and /or State Circular Letter 04 -04 (if
applicable). It is subject also to any special conditions attached to this program.
This Subgrant Award incorporates all conditions and representations contained or made in the application and notice
of award (if applicable).
