A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE MONTHLY UNIFORM ALLOWANCE
RATE FOR PUBLIC SAFETY EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the Moab City Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual Section 4 12
allows that the City will provide a uniform maintenance and cleaning payment to all
employees required to wear and maintain uniforms, and
WHEREAS, the current Uniform Allowance rate is $55 00 per month for Police and
Animal Control Officers and $25 00 for Police Secretanes, and
WHEREAS, there has not been an increase to these rates in at least ten years,
NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF MOAB
RESOLVE TO ADOPT the City of Moab Monthly Uniform Allowance Rates as follows
effective beginning July 1, 2001
Police and Animal Control Officers $80 00
Police Secretanes $40 00
