NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES as follows: Sec. 1: Territory Described. That the following described tract of land herein called territory, is hereby annexed to the Village. of Plainfield: THE NORTH 685.00 FEET OF THE WEST 660.00 FEET OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH RANGE 9 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Sec. 2: Village Limits Extended. That the Village limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and the same are hereby extended to include the above described territory. Sec. 3: Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That Ordinance No. 1 of the Village of Plainfield be amended as follows: /~3 ~ a . • ~ « That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be extended to include the tract of land described in Section 1 hereof. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed. This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. 2757 and shall take effect upon its passage and approval in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes of the State of Illinois in such case made and provided and the Village Clerk shall certify two copies of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the annexed territory and file same in the Office of the Will County Clerk.
