A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $7,500 FROM THE CITY COUNCIL
DISCRETIONARY FUND IN ORDER TO PAY COSTS ASSOCITED WITH A 2011
EMPLOYEE HOLIDAY PARTY
WHEREAS, the holiday event has traditionally served as the Council's
expression and recognition of our City employees' efforts to provide excellent service to
the community and help promote employee morale.
WHEREAS, funding is available through the City Council's discretionary
accounts to transfer funds to finance an employee holiday party; and
WHEREAS, fifteen hundred dollars is being requested from each Council
members discretionary account to fund this activity for FY 2011.
Section 1. That the City Council supports and authorizes the transfer of
$1,500 from each Council Members Discretionary Account to fund this 2011 holiday
activity.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6 th day of December, 2011.
