A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING TWO TEMPORARY PROJECT MANAGERS TO PROVIDE PROJECT
MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City recently approved additional projects for the 2011 -2012
fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, public works bidding climate is still producing low bids that are 25%
- 30% below previous years; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department recommends expediting certain
projects; and
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes staff to retain two temporary part-
time project managers.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6 day of December, 2011.
