AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH QUEEN BEACH
PRINTING FOR THE PRINTING OF THE COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER, LYNWOOD
N' PERSPECTIVE (LNP)
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a qualified
printer; and
WHEREAS, to comply with the City's purchasing ordinance, a Request For
Proposals was issued to inumerous vendors; and
WHEREAS, City staff evaluated four proposals and recommends Queen Beach
Printing for the City's monthly community newsletter, Lynwood 'N Perspective(LNP);
and
WHEREAS, $32,000 per year is needed to cover the cost for the printing
services and the first year. Costs are included in the FY 2011-2012 adopted budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, ORDER', AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the selection of Queen Beach
Printing to provide printing service for the City's monthly community newsletter,
Lynwood 'N Perspective.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute the attached printing agreement
on behalf of the city.
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon it's adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of December, 2011.
