SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall City Council invites citizens to a Public Forum to hear information regarding airport land acquisition. The City of McCall is making plans to acquire land for expansion. Congruent
with recommendations provided by the 2007 McCall Municipal Airport Master Plan, an offer has been provided to landowner(s) at appraised value, as required by the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA), for purchase of 78.58 or 15.302 acres of land adjacent to the airport. Potential land acquisition will enable the relocation of Taxiway Alpha to meet FAA design standards for
runway/taxiway separation criteria, and will protect future compatible land use and development efforts.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Supply information regarding Airport Land Acquisition and hear the Citizens’ comments regarding Airport Land Acquisition.
