SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The current agreement for general airport engineering/consulting services with T-O Engineers expires on 1 September 2013. This agreement included 8 hours of general engineering and 24
hours of airport management consulting services per month at a monthly cost of $4,000. A draft FY14 agreement, attached to this agenda bill, has been negotiated and provides for 2 hours
of general engineering and 2 hours of airport manager monthly consultant services at a cost of $1,000 per month. The proposed agreement offers a total of approximately 100 hours of
consultant services through the FY, which matches the level of service and cost found within agreements of same subject prior to the FY13 amended agreement that was utilized to fill
the gap within the airport manager position. The proposed term of this agreement is 1 September 2013 through 31 August 2014 (12 months). The City Attorney has reviewed this agreement
and his recommendations have been included within the document attached to this agenda bill.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve FY14 Agreement for General Airport Engineering/Consulting Services with T-O Engineers and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
