SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Wastewater Joint Working Group (PLRWSD & City of McCall) continues to meet on a regular basis to discuss ways to develop a joint operational structure for the operations and maintenance
of both the PLRWSD and the City of McCall’s wastewater systems.
A draft operational structure was presented to the City Council on September 26, 2013. A number of questions have arisen that need to be addressed before moving forward. Dale Caza (PLRWSD)
and Peter Borner (City of McCall) will continue to meet on a regular basis to develop a framework of working together in a more collaborative way.
Most importantly, however, is an Application for Water Reuse has been submitted to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality by the PLRWSD. The full permit cannot be issued until
the City of McCall and the Payette Lakes Recreational Water & Sewer District reach an agreement on a contract for disposal operations.
Attached is the draft Memorandum of Understanding and Exhibits prepared by the Payette Lakes Recreational Water & Sewer District for your review.
