SUMMARY STATEMENT:
As part of final approved design for the proposed sidwalk constructed at 501 N. Third Street (Growlers Restaurant location), it was necessary to locate a small portion of the new sidewalk
within the private property. Approximately 14 square feet of area within the subject property at the corner of SH-55 and Colorado Street has been utilized for the new sidewalk to ensure
compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) design guidelines.
The required easement will provide necessary public access rights within this portion of the property. Attached is a copy of the sidewalk easement agreement with accompanying exhibits.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the easement agreement between the property owner and the City, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
