SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Ordinance No 893 was adopted by City Council on February 9, 2012. Ordinance 893 was a Category A annexation for zoning upon annexation of approximately 35.6 acres containing the Timbercrest
Countryside Subdivision (zoned R4 – Low Density Residential) and adjacent properties to the north (zoned R4) and west (zoned R1 – Residential). When Ordinance 893 was sent to the Idaho
State Commission, the Commission sent a letter stating that there was a discrepancy with the ordinance’s legal description. Garrett Mapp, the City’s GIS Analyst has corrected the legal
descriptions and has worked with the Tax Commission to ensure that the legal descriptions are accurate.
Attached are the Ordinance, Ordinance Summary and the letter from the State Tax Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Suspend the rules, read by title only, one time only, Ordinance No. ___.
Adopt Ordinance No.____, correcting Ordinance No. 893 which established a Category A annexation for zoning upon annexation of approximately 35.6 acres containing the Timbercrest Countryside
Subdivision and adjacent properties to the north and west, approve the publication of the summary, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents
