HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrdinance 2511., VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD ORDINANCE N0.2511 AMENDING THE VILLAGE SUBDIVISION CODE REGARDING RESIDENTIAL PARKING FACILITIES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD. PUBLISHED IN PAMPHLET FORM BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS, ON THIS 19TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2005. ORDINANCE NO. 2511 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE SUBDIVISION CODE REGARDING RESIDENTIAL PARKING FACILITIES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, THAT CHAPTER 7 SECTION 7-210 OF THE PLAINFIELD CODE COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE SUBDIVISION CODE IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: I. That Section 7-210 Driveways Id1 is amended to read as follows: Id) "Residential driveways or parking facilities where permitted shall not be located within five (5) feet of any property line, except for single-family homes that incorporate aside-loaded garage, in which case the driveway may encroach into the five 15) foot setback or any drainage or utility easement. Any side-loaded garage driveway shall maintain a minimum five 15) foot grass separation between adjacent driveways." This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication as required by law. PASSED THIS 15th DAY OF August, 2005.
