SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In October 2014, City Council held a work session on McCall’s 3% local option tax on hotel/motel and short-term rentals. The purpose of the work session was to discuss the priorities
of the distribution of the 3% local option tax revenue. At that time, City Council made a commitment to continue the 3% discussion with the community. A community discussion is scheduled
for January 13, 2015. The format of the meeting will be new to the City Council, as well as to the community.
In preparation for our first “Community Discussion,” the City Manager will walk the Council through the meeting process. Agendas and discussion guides will be distributed, reviewed
and modified as Council directs.
