SUMMARY STATEMENT:
As staff was preparing the fee schedule for MCC Title 4 Business Regulations for review it was noted that some items in the proposed code amendment involving events be changed. At the
March 13, 2015 City Council Meeting, Council discussed events in McCall. Council also discussed regulating events on private property. There was Council consensus that events would
not be regulated on private property with the exception of alcohol catering permits that are required by state law. Council also reviewed the events chapter of McCall City Code Title
4 Business Regulations. The attached Title 4 Chapetr 8 events shows revisions that would clarify public versus private party events.
The attached proposed fee schedule for business regulations reflects what is done currently with some changes to the fees related to events to reflect fees comparable to what is charged
in city parks. Staff is requesting that Council review the proposed fees and have a discussion to clarify questions regarding vendors.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Give direction to staff to complete the events section of the Title 4 business regulations re-write and the fee schedule. Staff will then bring back to Council for adoption.
