SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In 2013, City staff started working with the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) on the Lardo Bridge project to ensure the McCall would have a quality bridge design that meets the
Master Plans and design aesthetic of the community. Staff from Community Development, Public Works, and Parks dedicated countless hours to work with ITD and the contractor Wadsworth
Construction on design, historic mitigation, utilities, and park design. As a design build project, there are lessons that were learned by all parties. The purpose of this letter is
to share the City of MCCall’s process and project experience with ITD. The challeneges and successes of the Lardo Bridge Project are outlined in the attached letter.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the letter to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) regarding the Lardo Bridge and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
