SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC) administers grant funding for roadway projects, including the Local Rural Highway Investment Program (LRHIP). Commerce Street
is identified by the Streets Department as a priority street project for FY17, and the project is also identified in Ordinance 936 as a LOT funded project. The project would consist
of .2 miles of road reconstruction to include stormwater management, multi-modal facilities, and water system improvements.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the submission of a FY2017 Local Rural Highway Investment Program grant application and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
