A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ORDERING
THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE AND FILE A REPORT REGARDING THE
LYNWOOD LIGHTING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, AS REQUIRED BY THE
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972 (PART TWO OF DIVISION 15 OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA), FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2012 -2013
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on June 2, 1981, adopt
Resolution No. 81 -69 ordering the formation of the Lynwood Lighting Assessment
District; and
WHEREAS, there are no proposed new improvements or any substantial
changes in the existing improvements referenced in Resolution No.81 -68 which was
adopted on June 2, 1981; and
WHEREAS, Section 22500 et. seq. of the Streets and Highways Code requires
that an annual report regarding the Lynwood Lighting Assessment District be prepared
and filed.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare and file a
report in relation to said Assessment District, all in accordance with Part 2, Division 15
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3 rd day of January, 2012.
