A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY AND ST. FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER FOR THE USE OF THE
CENTER'S CERTAIN FACILITY RELATIVE TO THE OPERATION OF THE CITY'S
SCADA SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the construction of a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition
System (SCADA) is one of several on -going water projects aim to improve the reliability
and efficiency of the City's water system; and
WHEREAS, the SCADA system requires the installation and operation of a relay
radio wave antenna; and
WHEREAS, in consideration for the mutual benefits from this project, the St.
Francis Medical Center has agreed to grant the City the right to install and operate said
antenna on the roof of its certain building through a License Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the License Agreement
between the City and St. Francis Medical Center for the use of the Center's certain
facility relative to the operation of the City's SCADA system. Said License Agreement
shall be in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3 d day of January, 2012.
