SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Based on recommendation from library staff, on 9/22/2015 the Board voted 4 to 1 to implement new pro-rated library card options to better serve the public, as follows: 2-year option,
$100.00; 3-month option, $14.02; Digital-only access, $25.00. All options will include appropriate tax (see attached chart). There is no change to the annual base membership at $50.00.
The multiple options will cater in a flexible manner to our unique community of part-time residents, and it is believed it will result in greater use of and satisfaction with the library.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Resolution 15-18 adopting Library related fees and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
